Cool summer nights call for a warmer jacket, but sun beating down on your during the day means a cooler outfit. This dress is from Synergy in Santa Cruz and the shoes are from DSW. The leather jacket, easy to carry around and convenient to throw on when it gets colder out, is from H&M.

Bubbles

Sunflowers

Sunflowers are the perfect symbol of summer. The bright yellow petals look like the sun and the plants themselves are very reactive to sunlight. The aviator sunglasses are from Modcloth, the sunflower top is from Forever 21, and the shorts are from H&M.

These bohemian-esque tops are really easy to hand-dye. I've purchased this one second-hand off of Audrey Kitching, but the solid white ones are easy to find online and fabric dyes can be purchased at any craft store. I'm also wearing black shorts from Hot Topic and blue shoes I purchased from a wholeseller.

LA Skyline

Black works with all graphic tees. That's why I'm wearing these black Docs, black shorts from Forever 21, and some black aviator sunglasses from Modcloth. On top I have this bright, colorful Los Angeles skyline shirt from Forever 21.

Pop Punk

Pop punk is all about tie dye. I tie dyed these socks and this shirt myself, and I think they're so fun because they're so bright and colorful, yet they don't look crazy.
